Zucchi family began to sell Lambrusco in 1958. The winery, founded by
Bruno Zucchi, is renoved in the 1970s by son Davide and his
wife Maura. Since 2010, the presence of their daughter Silvia initiates
a turnaround in production: the will to still remain a small winery, where
there is still a lot of manual skill however, combined with a continuous
refinement of all stages/techniques and thanks to capacity of Silvia excellent wines are born.
Lambrusco di Sorbara Brut Rosè RITO
A good wine, genuine and original with a nose of floral and fruity scents. To the mouth has flavour of strawberry, raspberry.
Zucchi with its products enhances the "Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC". These red brut sparkling wines are usually work with cryomaceration and then fermented for 4-5 week with Charmat method at a controlled temperature (14-16°C).
Now the winery has two lines of product: "Linea Zucchi" and "Silvia Zucchi".
"Linea Zucchi" has some red brut sparkling wines as "ETICHETTA BIANCA" ("white label"), "RITO" an important sparkling wine with many awards.
Another mention to MARASCONE, a wine with a good structure and intense bouquet; to the palate is well-balanced with dark berry scents.
"Silvia Zucchi" express the technical capacity of Silvia Zucchi through some Lambrusco di Sorbara PDO sparkling wines Charmat method and some Classic method of sparkling, using 100% of one grape variety.
Lambrusco di Sorbara rosè P.D.O.
An elegant sparkling wine brut with floral and fruity bouquet, rose, violet and strawberry. On the palate is well-balanced with flavour of little red fruits, fresh wine with pleasant and fine bubbles.
Production area
The vineyards - 10 hectares - are located in San Prospero(MO), Emilia Romagna region, dedicated
to Lambrusco di Sorbara, Lambrusco Salamino and Trebbiano Modenese vines.
The yearly production is about 100.000 bottles.
