The work of the Ulisse brothers is to know each grape variety and enhance
its properties, trying to reach the excellence. None of the wines have
forced or off-key notes: all Ulisse wines are masterfully balanced.
Modern winemaking techniques (cooling tunnel, cold maceration of the skin peels, controlled fermentations, etc.) used in some kind of vines for extracting more aromatic nuances.
There are several wine lines, many wines among PDO vines as Montepulciano
d'Abruzzo PDO, Pecorino PDO, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo PDO, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo
PDO, Cococciola PGI and international vines as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet
Franc, Merlot e Chardonnay.
Dedicated to the founder, grandfather Antonio Ulisse; an intense ruby-red produced with blended red wines. The nose is fruity with hints of cranberries, plum over all.
In the mouth is silky and tannins are evident but balanced.
